The kennel building provides comfortable accommodation with self watering bowls, a shower and grooming area, an effective heating and cooling system, but unlike conventional kennels there are no outside runs. Why? The difference is that all visitors enjoy the unique Apsley experience of being exercised four times daily which allows them to relieve themselves in the woods instead of the run. Training sessions are conducted both one on one and also with John’s regular team of four working dogs.
In addition to our own land we are most fortunate to have access to many acres of woods, fields, and ponds owned by several neighbors, most of whom are valued friends and customers.
